St. Jude Showcase Home Kitchen
A showcase kitchen built to be walked through by thousands, and still to work for the family who lives there afterwards.
The house looks straight into mature trees, and the previous kitchen turned its back on that entirely.
We reoriented the working side of the room so the view sits ahead of you rather than behind, and pulled the palette from what is outside: bark tones in the timber, a stone with the same grey-green cast as the light in that room, brass warm enough to hold its own in winter.
