A showcase kitchen built to be walked through by thousands, and still to work for the family who lives there afterwards.
Pale rooms lose their nerve when every surface is set to the same value. Without contrast there is nothing for the eye to land on.
We held the palette soft but varied the depth, a slightly deeper tone on the vanity, veining with real contrast in the stone, and darker metal on the fittings. The room stays gentle and still has structure.
